Either way, I collect scrubbed traces of what the tool does on your project (see below). This only changes where your AI itself runs.

The honest part

What I can see while you test

The Steward’s trace-processing is meant to run sealed — where even I can’t see what’s inside. During testing I deliberately leave it open, so I can watch how the autonomous improver behaves on real projects and tune it. Open means I can see your traces — including fragments of the code and logs the agent reads. Not your whole repo; only what it touches. Secrets are pattern-filtered before anything leaves (best-effort, not a guarantee — don’t point it at secrets you can’t rotate). Traces are kept up to 90 days, and deleted on request. Sealing this is the whole point of the product — you’re helping get there.
